'Live Steam Workshop'

Live Steam Workshop by Tag Gorton
There is an increasing range of live steam models from a number of manufacturers and the most popular of these can nowadays offer well-made locomotives from a price level that is attracting ever more newcomers to this delightful hobby. While attractive, powerful and reliable these less expensive models will generally however, come with a comparatively basic level of detail. This book will help the new locomotive driver to improve their model both cosmetically and functionally, often using inexpensive engineer designed third-party add-ons. The accent here is on simplicity and the book is designed for the average railway modeller rather than the model engineer. These suggestions and ideas can be also used with equal success on the generic models higher up the respective ranges of the various suppliers.

Published by Atlantic Publishers.
Format: A4 softback, 84 pages, colour throughout.
ISBN: 1-902827-15-5
